American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Jump-Start Data Boot Camp
About the Event
Please join us for a series of three (3) in-person sequential workshops focused on distinct areas of the American School Counselors Association (ASCA) National Model including leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and systemic change. In this three-day boot camp, participants will leave ready to implement the foundational components of the national model: Assess, Manage, Deliver, and Define components. Leave with your data profile, data summary, annual student outcome goal plan, closing-the-gap goal and action plan, and administrative conference complete. This boot camp will also cover the next steps for supplemental data to support your annual student outcome goal plan. Learn from and engage with ASCA-certified school counselors, Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) reviewers, and local/national school counseling experts who transformed their schools by utilizing the national model and have earned RAMP designation. Participants will also engage in breakout sessions throughout the camp, designed to increase capacity. Counseling teams will be provided with an optional individual consultation at the end of each session. By registering, you can look forward to: • Acquiring skills in assessing your existing programs to increase student achievement with specific data collection practices, program audits, and assessments. • Learning and engaging in best practices working towards intentional, data-informed, equity-focused, comprehensive school counseling programs. • Learning from local leaders and current RAMP recipients in Riverside County while developing internal networks of support. • Learning how the national model lends itself to multi-tiered, multi-domains systems of support. • Access to coaching and support. Intended Audience: District and Site School Counselors and Administrators
