About the Event

The Riverside County Mathematics Community of Practice (CoP) is a space for people who share an interest in modernizing mathematics to learn, collaborate, and problem-solve. Modernizing mathematics is the act of reimagining and moving teaching, learning, and leadership of mathematics education in order to meet the demands of a highly technical and quantitative global society. It involves privileging mathematical thinking and discourse, positioning students and teachers as leaders and contributors, redefining what is valued and measured in mathematics learning, and using mathematics to transform the world. If this is you, then you are invited to join this new and exciting group of innovators and leaders. Who Should Attend: Teachers, coaches. TOSAs.
