    About the Event

    The Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) is a gradual continuum of student support practices and interventions from lesser to greater intensity, frequency, and duration. This training will support participants in taking the next steps from Tier 2 systems, data, and practices to building a robust and effective Tier 3. Session 1 – Reflect on current Tier 2 and Tier 3 teaming processes Explore the similarities and differences between Tier 2 and Tier 3 tools, roles, and responsibilities Assess current Tier 2 and Tier 3 strengths and needs Explore Tier 3 concepts, tools, and strategies Session 2 – Leverage current site strengths, and lower tiers of support, into Tier 3 Anchor Tier 2 and Tier 3 practices and data within the Multi-Tiered System of Support Create messaging for all stakeholder groups on Tier 3 systems, data and practices Initiate next steps for leveraging Tier 2 strengths into a solid Tier 3 system of support Audience This training is designed for school staff intended to participate in the planning and implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
