PBIS Tier 3 – Teaming: Scaling Your Interventions
About the Event
Join this virtual training to hear an overview of PBIS Tier 3 – Teaming: Scaling Your Interventions. Schools need to have systems for efficiency at every tier. This is especially required when the work gets more intense at Tier 3. Although “one student at a time” approaches may be delivered with care, they often aren’t enough to provide the long-term, comprehensive support needed for the number of youth who struggle most. Join us to improve your teaming at Tier 3 in ways that leverage everyone’s strengths and improve the quality of life for all. Session 1 – Reflect on current individual student support processes at Tier 3 Assess current Tier 3 teaming strengths and needs Better understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of individuals and teams involved at Tier 3 Learn more about the most commonly implemented Tier 3 evidence-based practices and tools Session 2 – Apply the principles of Tier 3 practices to current individual student support efforts to assess strengths and needs Gain fluency in the tiered (or layered) nature of interventions and team processes at Tier 3 Explore new ways to team at all tiers that will benefit Tier 3 effectiveness and efficiency Who Should Participate: This training is designed for school staff intended to participate in the planning and implementation of Tier 3 interventions.
