About the Event

Join us for a fun-filled morning for Elementary and Middle School Students with disabilities who want to participate in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM) at the Riverside County Office of Education, Conference Center (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.). Social Objectives: • Create a sense of belonging • Boost participant self-confidence • Deepen understanding of and differences of others Educational Objectives: • Improve problem-solving and strategy skill development • Inspire learning, guide student inquiry and discussion • Develop soft skills in the areas of collaboration, communication, and teamwork Environmental Objectives: • Build bridges to inclusive campus clubs • Provide access to community resources • Create an atmosphere of acceptance and respect Partners: Santa Claus Incorporated Riverside County Office of Education
