Certification for Supervisors of Attendance Training Workshop

About the Event

The Riverside County Office of Education will be hosting an in-person Attendance Certification training (hybrid learning will be available). This certification will bring districts and their Supervisors of Attendance into alignment with Education Codes 48240 and 48245. This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of attendance laws, best practices, and evidence-based strategies to improve attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism, improvement science strategies to support district and site-based attendance teams, and more. Supervisor of Attendance Certification is required every two years. Who Should Attend: Current Supervisors of Attendance, District Student Services Administrators, Site Administrators Supervising Attendance, Classified Attendance Staff, Members of Attendance Teams, and other site and district staff with a desire to improve attendance.
