Join us in recognizing outstanding high school seniors who embody character, integrity, a passion for learning, active involvement in school life, sports, and community service, or who have displayed remarkable resilience in life’s challenges while maintaining a commitment to education. The heartbeat of the Student of the Month program is the student who leaves an indelible mark on their home, school, and community with unwavering dedication. STUDENT OF THE MONTH From November to April, devoted educators and staff members at each high school will carefully select one outstanding student for a unique honor and recognition every month. These exceptional students and their families will be celebrated at a monthly event. In May, these Students of the Month can apply for the prestigious Student of the Year Award by submitting scholarship applications. STUDENT OF THE YEAR Students honored with a Student of the Month recognition are eligible to apply for the Student of the Year Award. Each Student of the Month will receive an invitation to apply to Student of the Year, which will include a student essay with a topic determined by the committee. If a school district comprises five high schools, there will be a total of five Student of the Year honorees from that district. These students are chosen based on their outstanding academic achievements, active participation in high school life, or their inspiring journey of self-improvement and transformation. The essay(s) selected by the Student of the Month Committee will determine the Student of the Year winner for each school. The Student of the Year ceremony in May promises to be a highlight of this exciting journey.
