PBIS/MTSS Tier 2 – Check-In, Check-Out (CICO) Made Simple
About the Event
Whether you are new to Check-In, Check-Out (CICO), or looking to strengthen your existing system, join us for this virtual training designed to meet you where you are. CICO is a simple yet powerful Tier 2 intervention with strong evidence of effectiveness across behavioral, academic, attendance, and mental health challenges. You will engage in an interactive learning experience to gain a deeper understanding of how to implement CICO with clarity, consistency, and greater impact. Once seen primarily as a tool for attention-seeking behaviors, CICO is now recognized as a valuable support for students facing a wide range of needs, including those related to trauma, internalizing behaviors, and chronic absenteeism. This training will focus on practical strategies for building and refining a CICO system with greater fidelity and capacity to maximize positive outcomes for at-promise youth. Those who have joined in the past are encouraged to return as you continue to refine and improve your efforts.
