New AVID Elective Teacher Network Series

About the Event

This workshop series is designed for teachers who are new to the AVID Elective. Participants will receive continued guidance and support throughout their first year teaching the AVID elective course. Participants will dive deeper into the foundations of AVID strategies and components of the elective, AVID Center resources, and more. Most importantly, this will be a place to get all questions answered from the AVID Riverside County team throughout the year. Additional opportunities to network with other new AVID teachers to share ideas and gain confidence for a successful year. Includes resources and materials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for in-person sessions.
