PBIS/MTSS Tier 2 – Expanding Interventions with Skills Groups and Mentoring
About the Event
This two-part training will give you what you need to add more interventions to your Tier 2 system of support. Building from a strong Tier 1 foundation and leveraging the critical features of Tier 2, both Skills Groups and Mentoring can greatly increase your intervention capacity and effectiveness. Join us to explore and learn how to install these research-based interventions. Learn about the power and practices of Skills Groups and Mentoring at Tier 2 Understand the various types of Skills Groups and types of Mentoring, including those for academic and attendance needs Identify your school’s strengths and needs related to these interventions Create a plan for anchoring Skills Groups and Mentoring within your multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) Those who have joined in the past are encouraged to return as you continue to refine and improve your efforts. Who Should Participate? This training is designed for school staff who intend to engage in the coaching, coordination, or facilitation of groups and/or mentoring. Cancellations/Refund Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing before the applicable deadline date. Refunds cannot be issued after February 18, 2027.
Please note that participants who do not attend and have not submitted a cancellation request by the deadline will still be responsible for payment.
