About the Event
Over the past three years, rates of chronic absenteeism (missing 10% or more of the school days in a year for any reason) have steadily declined within Riverside County, however, the rate is still above the State average. At this summit, you will hear from school districts about the best practices they have successfully implemented. Breakout sessions will focus on evidence-based strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism for elementary schools and secondary schools, supporting students through the lens of mental health and improving attendance for marginalized populations.
